5th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of ex-Captain Peter Prior in Reading in 1998. He is pictured with a life ring with Royal Berks painted thereon. This item was used by him on the landings at Normandy when the Battalion landed on Juno Beach on the 6th June 1944. His batman painted the words on the ring.
