Wiltshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of the Freedom Parade in Salisbury City Centre in November 1947. Number 1 Company was formed by soldiers from the 1st Battalion; Number 2 Company consisted of the Colour parties of the 1st and 4th Battalions together with the standards from fourteen branches of the Old Comrades Associations. Major Dutton commanded No 1 company, Lieutenant Colonel Luce commanded No 2 Company and Major Read No 3 Company. The parade as a whole was commanded by Lieutenant Colonel N Kenrick. The county cadets lined the parade ground.
