1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of Corporal 9392 J.D. Keatley. He came from 23 Leopold Road, Reading. He was killed in action sometime between the 15th and the 17th May 1915 at the age of 19. He is buried in the Commonwealth war cemetery at Browns Road Military Cemetery Festubert.

Ward, [From Abingdon], Private L. Ard,  Private F. Podd, L/Corporal F. Cornick, Private B. Inns. [Middle Row L to R] Private D. Sheehan, L/Corporal W. Grange, Private A, Bale [From Abingdon], Private B. Sith [From Henley], Private G. Mortby, Private P. Langston. [Bottom Row L to R] Corporal E. Stone, [From Abingdon], Sergeant G. Hodsdon, Sergeant W. Bowles, Sergeant W. Gillingham, Corporal R. Harper [From Abingdon]. After training most of these soldiers would be posted to a front line battalion in France.
