1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A sepia photograph sent to the Battalion by the officers of the 15th Ludhiana Sikhs on the occasion of the anniversary of the ?Battle of Tofrek?, 22nd March, 1908. [This was the battle fought by the 1st Battalion Berkshire Regiment in the Sudan 1885 alongside the 15th Sikhs] The photograph includes officers from the 15th Sikhs and the 2nd Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment (the old 66th) who at this time were stationed in India. . 5th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white digital photograph of Captain Guy William Hopton. He was killed in action on the 27th July 1915. He was the son of the late Sir Edward and Lady Hopton; husband of Ellen Beatrice Hopton (nee Oakeley), of Frittenden House, Frittenden, Kent. Served in the South African Campaign with the 2nd Battalion. He is buried in Rifle House Cemetery.
