He was the son of the late John and Mrs. Harvey, of Glenside, Leigh Woods, Bristol; husband of Eleanor F. Harvey, of Summerlands, Nailsea, Somerset. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial to the missing.
