1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photocopy of a photograph of Private 39422 Burrus James Hales in the uniform of the Huntingdon Cyclist Regiment. He later transferred to the Royal Berkshires and was killed in action on the 3rd May 1917. He was the son of James Samuel and Mary Elizabeth Hales, of Mill Rd., Wistow, Huntingdon. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras memorial.
