2nd Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of the Drums and Colours, in India prior to the 2nd World War. Left to right are Boy Soldier Dixon, Drum Major Gilding and Boy Soldier Parsons. The Colours, although not carried in battle, are starting to show their age, having been presented by Queen Victoria in 1882 to replace those lost at Maiwand.
