Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photo of Major C N B Dawson who was seconded from the Regiment to the Parachute Regiment - this photo was taken at Arnheim in 1944 just before he was killed; at that time he was Brigade Major to Brigadier Hackett. He was the grandson of Captain Mayne who commanded the 3rd Light Cavalry (later Mayne's Horse) at Maiwand
