[ In February 1900 General Clements had found it necessary to order a retirement from the Rensburg positions on Arundel, in order to cover Naauwpoort Junction. This led to the loss of two companies from the Battalion] This image was in the collection of Lieutenant Colonel Carter, the Commanding Officer at the time.
