M. T. Bunny (served from 1881 to 1904). Lieutenant Bray went on to form the 7th (Service) Battalion at the start of the 1st World War. Lieutenant Lynch went on to fight in the Sudan campaign with the 1st Battalion (the old 49th) in 1885, the only officer from the regiment to take part in both campaigns.
