2nd Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of the Corps of Drums somewhere in either France or Belgium 1939 ? 40 during the phoney war. The drum Major is Drum Major Edwin Robert Brown. He was later commissioned into the Hampshire Regiment and was killed in action on D+7 in 1944. He was the son of Florence Alice Brown; husband of Hilda Florence Brown, of South Lambeth, London and is buried in the Commonwealth War Grave cemetery at Bayeux.
