4th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of L/Corporal 5336332 Alec Edward Beal. He was killed in action on the 25th May 1940 during the retreat to Dunkirk. He was the son of Thomas Mitchel Beal and Evelyn Beal, of Benson, Oxfordshire. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Dunkirk Memorial.
