5th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A colour photograph of the Commonwealth grave in the Meaulte Military Cemetery of Private 35596 Joseph John Barrett who was Killed in action on the 22nd August 1918 during the attack on the village of Meaulte; he was 24 years of age and the son of James and Jane Barrett of Stoke Works, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, and the husband of Doris Gordon (Formerly Barrett), of 55 Kendal Road, Sparkbrook, Birmingham. Private Barrett served in 'D' Company.

4th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of a group of soldiers from what is believed to be ?D? company at Cosham, Wiltshire in early August 1914. The wooden building behind the group is a cow shed and is described as such by the sender of the Post Card, L/Corporal Richard Barrett who is believed to be in this group. It is date stamped the 9th August 1914 and addressed to Mis E Saunders, Hyde Farm Nurseries, Marcham, Near Abingdon, Berkshire.
