1st Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A drum tutor entitled 'The Side Drum' which includes exercises, extracts from classical and other works, hints and remarks useful to Orchestral performers. It was published by J. R. Lafler & Son in London and belonged to No. 2930 L/Corporal T. Shord and was used by him during his stay in India in 1902. There is also a letter written by T. Shord to the Curator of the Regimental Museum on 2nd June 1952. It states details of his service and gives information regarding his drum and drum book. T. Shord joined the Army in 1891 and finished his service with the rank of Sergeant.
