2nd Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A Japanese officer's ceremonial sword acquired by Sergeant Robert George Burgess somewhere in Burma at the end of the 2nd World War. He had previously served in the Royal Air Force and after leaving the Royal Berkshire Regiment transferred to the Military Police. This sword has been identified as a Japanese Cavalry officer's sword but appears to have Arabic numerals on it

66th Regiment - A pattern 1845 sword and scabbard which belonged to Major Lynch, Royal Berkshire Regiment, who was present at both the Battle of Maiwand in 1880 serving with the 66th (Berkshire) Regiment and the Battle of Tofrek in 1885 serving with the 1st Battalion, Berkshire Regiment. He was badly wounded at Maiwand and his sword was lost. It was found 6 years later in the possession of an Afghan
