Unit unknown or none - German MG08 Maxim registered number 8248. This gun was captured by 1 R Berks on 10 Mar 1917, an action recorded in the Battalion's War Diary. It ended up in Australia for reasons which are not known. It was offered to the Museum by 133 Signal Sqn Royal Australian Signals in 1995. It has battle damage and is incomplete.
