5th Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A badly damaged and corroded steel helmet recovered by the Dutch Army recovery team when excavating the battlefield grave of Private Lewis Curtis in ?The Island? near Arnhem. His remains were discovered in 2005 by the Dutch Army recovery unit who after an excellent piece of detective work identified him by his dental records. He was finally buried with full military honours with his family in attendance in October 2012 when he was laid to rest in Oosterbeek Commonwealth War Cemetery.
