2nd Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A transcript (with a number of typos) of a photocopy of the recollections of Private W J Stroud of "D" Company who was taken prisoner of war on 24th October 1914 at the first Battle of Mons and not released until 10th January 1919
2nd/ 1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - Memoirs and biographical notes concerning Major Richard Rhodes- James, Major Bruce Kinloch and John Hill who was "B" Company Commander in the Battalion. Entitled 'The Burma War- 50 Years On (An Infantry Soldier Returns- 4th to 18th April 1995)' the document is part of notes made by John Hill (ex 2nd Bn Royal Berkshire Regiment) for a BBC documentary. It describes the conditions in Burma in 1945 and the trip made back to Burma 50 year later (in 1995). Also included is a map of Burma.
70th Young Soldiers Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A photocopy of the handwrittten recollections of C J Mills who served in the Royal Berkshire Regiment between June 1941 and August 1942 (the document comprises 28 pages). Also included is a photocopy of the accompanying letter that the document was sent with (the letter is not dated).
2nd Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A typed and bound diary entitled 'Life in the Army and in Action with 2nd Battalion The Royal Berkshire Regiment 19th Indian Dagger Div with XIV Army in Burma' the document is by Corporal W J Lowe. The document includes personal recollections of service in Burma and covers the period 1944 to 1945.
4th Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A set of typed recollections, written some 50 years after the events chronicled, of the crossing of the Seine at Giverny over the period 25th to 28th August 1944 written by Sergeant John William (Jack) Reavley; they cover three and a half pages of typescript
4th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A Document entitled 'A Wartime Log for British Prisoners', written by Captain Dudley Reginald Thomas Reddrop. The document is a typed biographical record of his war, starting with mobilization in August 1939, his capture just before Dunkirk, a large gap until after D-Day and finally his release in 1945. The document covers the period 29th August 1939 to 1945.
Wiltshire Regiment - Recollections of the 2nd World War (1944 and 1945) written by Captain Percy Rundle, entitled 'Acorn Here.' They are written in the form of a book and give a picture of one typical day's work. The book includes a handmade map of part of Germany near Geilenkirchen.

2nd Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - National service recollections of Private 22032241 Gordon L. Saunders between 1948 and 1950; they cover his time as a conscrpt at Bulford for basic tarining and then at Krefeld in Germany as a Clerk
5th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A typed transcript (plus floppy disk) of the audio recording on CD Artefact 19869 of Major Basil Tarrant MC, recalling his service with the Battalion in Normandy, France, in 1944 and the advance through Europe, with the 5th Bn Wiltshire Regiment, in 1944 and 1945. (He is the father of Chris Tarrant a Television Presenter).
