The letter dated December 1918 is from Cox and Company of Charing Cross, the second, dated March 1919 is from the War Office.

The second letter is also typed. It is dated the 11th of December 1918, and written from Lieutenant Colonel S Campbell, Commanding Officer of the Number 4 Canadian Casualty Clearing Station. The letter details the death of Major Nugent.

5th Bn and 2nd Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - Two letters written to the Commanding Officer of the 5th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment from Captain C Nugent. The letters are dated the 16th of April 1916 and the 17th of April 1916. The first letter is handwritten and is four pages long, it is a letter of complaint that Captain Nugent has been superceded for the appointment of 2nd in Command of the 5th Battalion by an Officer who is junior in Service and in Rank. The letter mentions Major General E Feltham, Brigadier General G P S Hunt, and Colonel F G Barker. The second letter is a page long and is a letter concerning the promotion of Captain C Nugent.

Also included are two requests for leave dated the 20th of December 1913 and the 30th of January 1914. The correspondance and other information concerns Lieutenant C Nugent.

The document is dated the 28th of March 1905 and is signed by Colonel H Bowles of the A. A. G. Army Schools... Charles Nugent was later commissioned and served in the 5th BN, Royal Berkshire Regiment during the 1st World War where he was killed
Aldershot Command - A hand written letter addressed to Nugent from the P. V. O's Office, Head- Quarters Office, Aldershot. The letter dated the 1st of September 1909 and is a cover letter concerning an Order as well as requesting a meeting with Nugent. Also enclosed are a set of Orders made by Lieutenant- General Sir H L Smith Dorrien (Commanding- in- Chief of the Aldershot Command), dated the 1st of September 1909 and a set of handwritten questions to be answered by the Commanding Officer of a N. E. O signed by Colonel R Pringle. This all resulted in Charles Nugent being commissioned; he served in the 5th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment and was killed during the 1st World War
2nd and 5th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - Two financial documents concerning firstly the account of Captain Charles Nugent with Cox and Company (16 and 17 Charing Cross) and secondly his own personal finances. The period covered is 1909 to 1917, the documents detail money paid out by Captain Charles Nugent's including goods brought and his balance at any time.

Inside the book lists the courses Charles Nugent has attended (two both in India, one in Musketry and one in Machine Gun); his promotions (he was registered as a 2nd Lieutenant on the 25th of August 1909 and a Captain and acting Major in March 1915; and where he has seen service (England, Ireland, Gibraltar, and South Africa).
Royal Berkshire Regiment - Aviator's Certificate - The document is registered to Lieutenant Charles Nugent who was born in Liverpool on the 8th of May 1884. The document is dated the 24th of June 1914 and includes a photograph of Lieutenant Charles Nugent. Also included is a card of registration(number 360) for the Royal Aero Club of the United Kingdom dated 1914.
2nd Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - Several letters concerned with the location of the late Major C Nugent's grave at the Valenciennes Cemetery. The letters are all typed, one is addressed to M Nugent, it is dated the 21st of May 1971; one is addressed to Mrs C Nugent, the writer is unknown, it is dated the 3rd of January 1919; one is addressed to C A Nugent Esquire and is dated the 23rd of July 1971 it is written by Colonel E A Griffin, attached to this is a letter in response to previous correspondence from C A Nugent to Colonel Griffiths. Also enclosed is a pencil sketch of Captain C Nugents' grave.
