66th Regiment - A photocopy of a hand written statement produced by Lieutenant Lynch in support of an award of the Victoria Cross for Captain Slade of the Royal Horse Artillery during the retreat from the Battlefield of Maiwand to Kandahar in July 1880. This statement was written when the Regiment was at Parkhurst in 1881. In the event Captain Slade was not awarded the VC.
