Harris. The list was written on the 6th February, 2001. Also included are photocopies of Army Forms relating to training, character reference, discharge certificate, and war badge awarded in 1916, all concerning F W Harris. The photocopies cover the period 1901 to 1916.

5th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - Very poor quality photocopies of four letters written by Private 10621 James Harrison. Prior to joining the 5th Battalion, he served in ?A? Company of the 3rd Battalion in Victoria Barracks, Portsmouth. He was wounded in 1916, died in 1923 and is buried in Wexford Church, Slough.
4th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A letter written by Private 5337996 Arthur George Harris to a Miss Bush. At the time of writing the letter, he was in ?A? Company. He was Killed in Action sometime between the 10th May 1940 and the 1st June 1940, on the retreat to Dunkirk. He was the son of Joseph and Ellen Harris and was aged 19. He is buried in the Adegem Canadian War Cemetery. (V.AA.5.)
