2nd Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - Hand written letter which is a copy of an anonymous letter sent to The Commander of the British Forces (Royal Berkshire Regiment) at Stomberg Junction. The letter is concerned with movements during the Boer War. The letter is dated 16th October 1899. The original envelope is included.

The other is dated June 1899 and is concerned with Military Service in the Orange Free State. They came in the papers of Henry Du Pre Finch
2nd Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - Two sets of Battalion Orders. One is dated 14th February 1900 from the Queenstown Camp. The other is dated 11th August 1899 and is from The Camp at Tamacha Heights. Both are signed by Captain Finch.
2nd Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A set of four letters. One is dated 30th September 1899 and is written to Captain Finch, the sender is unknown. The letter is concerned with the organisation of a meeting with the Colonel. The second letter is dated 27th January 1900 and is written by Annie Barnett (a school mistress) it is concerned with her pupils raising money to buy comforts for the troops. The third is dated 29th January 1900 and is again concerned with comforts for the troops, it asks that the recipients of the gifts be known. The fourth is dated 4th August 1985 and is from Colonel H Finch, it gives information about a number of items donated to the museum and a recent trip to South Africa.
2nd Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - Two Orders of Service. They are both the Order of Services for Queen Victoria's Funeral. One is dated Saturday, 2nd February 1901 and from the Cathedral Church of Saint Michael and Saint George in Grahamstown. The other (also dated 2nd February 1901) is from the Parish Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity, King William's Town. Also included are five hymn sheets. One is dated 1899.
1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - Diary belonging to 2nd Lieutenant J Ransom covering the period the 4th August to the 22nd October 1914. The diary includes a drawing detailing the structure of the Aldershot Command, and a list of Officers of the 1st Battalion.

5th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A collection of documents belonging to Captain P. J. Prior, the documents cover the period 1939 to 1945. Included are three speeches made to troops concerning the victory over Germany, they are dated May and June 1945 and May 1946; three Menus, the first menu is dated the 29th of November 1944, the second Friday 25th of July 1947 (the dinner was held by General Sir Miles C Dempsey), and the date of the third is unknown. Two of the Menu's have a handwritten or signatured list of attendees in them, one has the names of attendees typed in order of rank inside and on the back cover of the menu. The document includes an issue of the 'Battalion News' dated the 28th of March 1945, the location given is West Germany. There are three documents that contained detailed information on proceedures (or orders) to follow. The document includes a number of training manuals for various courses, photocopies of fitness and medical records and a memoir entitled 'Fifty Years Ago Today' written by P J Prior CBE, DL and dated the 6th of June 1994 which recalls the D Day landings.
