The Wardrobe is an ideal location in the heart of Salisbury for meetings, functions and events. Located in the serene setting of Cathedral Close, the Grade II* listed building enjoys some fine architectural features. The house has an attractive garden to the rear which leads to the river and open countryside views beyond.
Wedding Receptions, Parties or Celebrations
The Garden covers approximately half an acre and contains several specimen trees, the most impressive of which is a splendid copper beech tree, and extensive flower borders. It can accommodate a large marquee and associated hospitality/catering services. Depending on the layout of the marquee chosen one can normally plan on up 150 being seated.
Charges - Please note that rates quoted are for the garden only. Catering services, marquee and furniture hire and any other services must be negotiated separately with the relevant suppliers. You may wish to consider using Bernieres, the on- site cater, which would attract a £150 reduction on the ground charge.
For smaller Receptions, the Regimental Room can accommodate up to 50 people for a buffet style luncheon, alternatively 36 guests may be seated for a formal meal. The room offers splendid views of the Cathedral Spire and The Close to the front, and the garden to the rear.

With gardens leading down to the banks of the River Avon, it is difficult to imagine a better location within the City for any outdoor event, be it a Wedding, Celebration or Garden Party.
The Garden is also suitable for Outdoor Theatre Performance, Displays or Demonstrations.
The Regimental Room can accommodate up to 40 people for a formal presentation, with space for a projector and screen, or flip charts. The room is suitable for larger meeting. presentation or talks.
The Library is an impressive and secluded room, ideal for a small meeting, seating 12 people around the substantial board room style table. The Library is better suites to smaller committee meeting or interview boards.
Any electrical equipment brought into the building must carry a current PAT label.
